There's several mounts to relocate your gauge. I ended up using a 3d printed gauge.

Those rumors are true if you don't take care of it just like any guitar. I'd recommend keeping the action a little higher to prevent additional buzzing. The higher the gauge string, the higher the action to prevent buzz in most cases.

@@user-wj9vj5op5m I don't believe I did. I just used the supplied parts and eventually got it to fit right. It was tough to get it seated just right at first.

It's really both/and. For me, I grew up in an area without great musicians and influences. That's where musical influence and youtube came along. I eventually ended up at a place that had way better musicians and writers and I leaned in to learn and began my own writing journey. Simply put, it's a hybrid.

That's true. Some of the newer fat bobs come with a one piece rise already from factory which defeats the purpose of these unless you're going even higher.

@@richieram1520 Vance and Hines came out with a plug and play unit called the Fuelpak 4. You plug it directly into your system and you can choose the style of tuning without voiding the warranty. Granted, the options are limited, but they still do the job.

Good point. In summary: It fits my style of riding better in every way from the riding stance, the look, the power, and the overall style. The Fat Bob is still a great bike. The Low Rider S was a better option for me. After all, they are both softails.

@@TheChandanBangar How strong is the difference between the 114 and 117 engine? What advantages and disadvantages (if any) would you note about these engines? What is the comfortable top speed for you on both models?

@@andy_cowperwood These are great questions. Simply put, more power and torque. The reality is that you may not really feel the difference in my opinion. Comfortable top speed is subjective but I could easily be comfortable at 90-100 but I try not to be dumb and ride that fast. I'd say 80 is a sweet spot with plenty of power left to throttle.

That's a good point. I have ABS on mine as well. It really is a simple process and there are plenty of videos of how to do that on youtube, but I get the concern. Check a few videos out or have a shop take care of it. It's worth it.

It's just a pelican ammo case. I mounted it used the elite touring innovation hardware that allows you to mount whatever kind of case you want to your bike.

It's always a good idea to tune after a major change but I happened to take it on a 400 mile ride without tuning and it performed well without it. No decal pop or unwanted sputtering. I did just receive the FP4 and put it on a tune to be on the safer side of things.

Good choice! I've loved anything Vance and Hines personally. Used to have the mini grenades on my fat bob and they were LOUD but awesome.

Yeah I never ride with a passenger usually. At least I never did on the fat bob.

@@paullusby8056 It all depends on what kind of exhaust you get. Some will require relocation.

Yeah they are serve the purpose and look great. I rode 380 miles today and they function as designed. I don't have that issue with the mirrors however they are approximately 1/2 inch away from the tank at full turn. I'm also about to install 10" risers anyway.

How do they feel as performance & Stop and go compare to the stock?

@@baharmast11 They feel similar in performance. A little snappier after a clutch adjustment and I prefer it that way. The length of the levers are a little shorter which I like because the OEM stick out beyond the the grips.

Are they easier to pull than stock?

@@adammoore9271 Yes they are but that's more about your clutch adjustment than your levers. These feel less clunky since the OEM levers stick out further.

Those are great adjustments to make. I'm raising the bars on mine this week so I'll be making more adjustments then.

Yes that is possible. It all depends on how your chain is setup and you can route the chain from any point to another output row.
